My third grade students are the most amazing, well mannered, hard working students I have ever got the pleasure to teach. We are nestled in a small town in Missouri, with a very high poverty rate. There are 530 students within the walls of this Elementary School, with well over half of those students on the free/reduced lunch list. Many of my students have worries when they go home, like where their next warm meal is coming from, or where they are going to sleep. I want to do everything in my power to relieve these worries when they are with me.
