Wow!! As I am entering my thirteenth year in education, I am amazed at this journey I have been on. Throughout my experience, in three different states, as an elementary education teacher, special education teacher, and principal, I am still blown away by these growing minds entrusted to me! Two years ago I decided to go back into the classroom to teach fifth grade as my husband and I plant our roots in central Florida. Last year I had the exceptional opportunity to travel to Atlanta to visit the Ron Clark Academy to inspire MY love for learning and teaching, and everyone that surrounds me. This past year our grade level dabbled with STEM, and I am so excited to implement STEM more regularly in my fifth grade classroom. This year, I am also super thrilled to implement all my research in flexible seating into my phenomenal classroom. I'll tell you what - this next year is going to be the BEST YEAR YET!
