My Title I classroom is comprised of students who are extremely diverse learners. They learn through tactile means, visual stimulants, aural cues, and physical activity. My kiddos desperately need to have resources made available to them that support literacy learning through authentic exploration and investigative experiences. The school in which my students are served is located within a low-income area. Learners have been labeled "at-risk" for various reasons including socioeconomic factors and/or developmental concerns. In order to effectively facilitate learning, I must provide instruments that promote literacy and the relevance of learning to read. It is my desire to supply young learners with interactive means to employ practical applications of English Language Arts and fuel their passion and love of reading!
