The materials I chose for my classroom are replacement materials that were destroyed by Hurricane Ida. Our school received a large amount of damage and many student materials were lost. My students are returning to school without the means they had for learning before the storm. Many of their homes were damaged and they lost many items. These specific materials assist students with fine motor development, writing, and organizational skills. My students used the magnetic writers several times throughout the day in Literacy, Math, and Writing. With the chair pockets, I was able to keep them handy for each kid.
