Stories are written to either entertain the public or to inform the inquisitive. Using books is not only a classic way to inform students about power struggle but it can help open the minds of my students who are just years away from becoming members of society. With these novels, the age-old wish for history to not repeat itself can have a chance of coming true. We will explore the creation of a society, government, and relationships. These stories often offer a chance for students to see worlds outside their standard one's. It gives them a chance to understand the motivations in their personal lives as well as see how other perspectives are developed.
