Our classroom currently consists of a group of special education 6th graders. These students come from a low-socioeconomic background and do not all have access to technology at home. Our room also has students who come in for intervention in ELA and mathematics. Our school is a Title 1 school, meaning many students come from low-income families. Our school district has recently had several referendums fail, and a lot of programs, staff, and aid for materials have been cut.
