Thank you for visiting my page! Too often, students in public schools are told that learning a foreign language is not a priority or - worse - something that will impede success in other subjects. Learning French opens up a world of opportunity to my students because they can draw on their knowledge of French to assist them in other subject areas, including English and math! Learning French helps my students draw connections between their first (or second) languages and French and learn about the history and culture of Francophone countries whose resources are only available to native speakers of the French language. Your support of my projects provides my students the much-needed supplies to delve deeply into French and communicate in the language meaningfully inside our classroom.
