When I accepted my job teaching the students I do, I was extremely motivated by how fast I feel in love with each of them. Their big smiles, funny stories and eagerness to grow pushed me to develop more holistic and engaging lessons. I spent time creating resources and opportunities to help my students gain skills to read. The school itself, and the area it is located, is a lower income community. I want my students to experience everything they can so they can excel in their goals and understanding that they can do anything.
