The students that participate in the BMC program and social skills program at Powell often have a difficult time managing their emotions in response to frustration, anger, and disappointment. The books and materials will teach students to identify their emotions and how to respond appropriately to them. Students will use sensory materials to calm down and worksheets and activities will be used to teach students constructive ways to deal with their emotions. Resources will also help teachers focus instruction for specific behavioral needs. Help us stop the tantrum tornado! We want to make our classroom environments conducive to the needs of our students with behavioral and emotional disorders.
