This year I will be teaching remotely from my classroom for the first time. In order to best instruct and engage my students, I am hoping to connect a document camera to my computer. This will allow me to model activities and work throughout the lessons, as well as share reading materials with the group. I can use manipulatives for math, as well as the math workbook. I will also be able to show the pages of our interactive read aloud books much more clearly as I am reading aloud. There are so many opportunities for me to use this document camera this year as we embark on this new adventure. I want the best for my students regardless of our distance. This will help me give them the most effective education possible without being with them in the classroom.
