I teach 21 amazing 2nd graders at an urban school in Reno, Nevada. All my students qualify for free breakfast, lunch, and dinner at school, but that doesn't stop them from loving to read and learn. I have had the privilege to teach at this school for the past 11 years. I'm Mrs. Anderson at Anderson. I am commonly asked "does you dad own the school?" "Did you have to teach at this school?' We have the best students and families; however, Title 1 funds don't stretch as far as they use to and new books are hard to come by. As you can see in our profile picture, our well loved books are falling apart. We have technology, what we really need are new books to read.
