With a classroom incubator, I will be able to provide my students with a hands-on, direct learning experience with this life cycle, now and for years to come! Scientific inquiry is an area of development in which my students typically score low in and I feel that with an incubator, we can continue to work on increasing these skills! I can remember hatching eggs as a 1st grader and what an exciting experience it was for me and my peers, and I intend to provide the same experience for my students! After the chicks have hatched and are ready to be released, I will be transporting them to my brother's farm for them to roam freely with the rest of his chickens!
