My students are motivated learners who are learning how to advocate for what they need to help them learn. Most of my students struggle with reading, math, and writing. They have expressed their need for visuals. The school where I work houses the dual-language program, so many of the students I work with are English Language Learners as well as having learning needs. The students in my classroom are motivated and excited about learning. They love being involved and having ownership over what they are learning from day to day. They are becoming self-advocates for what they need and are working on developing self-efficacy to understand how they learn and set goals. I want to create a classroom that has all the necessary organization and tools needed to help foster this learning.
