I am one of five kindergarten teachers at my school. I have 19 kindergarten students in my classroom. Many of my students did not attend pre kindergarten so this is their first time to be in school. Some of my students are English Language Learners which means that their first language is not English. Our school has approximately 720 students and 55% of our population is classified as English Language Learners. Over 79% of the student population is economically disadvantaged.
