I teach reading and language arts to 36 second grades that make everyday a blessing. I have a classroom full of the sweetest students imaginable. Everyday starts and ends with a hug. The majority of the students at my school are on free or reduced lunch. Unfortunately, some of my students have to deal with situations that no 8 years old should have to deal with, which makes homework the least of their priorities when they get home.
