Our program is for students who have been deemed too aggressive for their neighborhood schools. While the world sees rage, we see trauma-impacted beautiful children with dreams and aspirations. Books are the answer. Let's surround these boys with characters experiencing all of the joys and struggles of life that look like them. I encourage the students to take the books home and fall in love with the power of reading. Knowledge is power and literacy will empower these youth to engage critically with the world. Thank you for considering this project.

About my class
