My students are like all kids, basically they are good kids, but many of them don't realize the potential they have or why they should strive for college or an engineering career. If they know anything about engineering, most of them would think it is about designing cars or trains. They don't realize the diversity in the occupation, or the chance it brings to make the world a better place and to truly help others.
