The students at our school come from increasingly diverse, and sometimes difficult, backgrounds and experiences. We are a Title I-funded school full of teachers who go above and beyond to give the children who walk into our classrooms everything and more that they need for optimal learning. There are limits to the equipment and resources we can provide. I am very proud to be a member of a school community that is driven to do what's best for our each individual child. We expect quite a lot from our five and six year-old children in kindergarten these days and I hope to make my students' first school experience as comfortable and as understanding of their needs (movement being one of those needs) as possible.
