My students are second graders who love working with others and truly learn by doing. The majority of my students have grown up with computers in their homes so are very comfortable with technology. While our school does have a computer lab we have access to for two half hour sessions a week, that is not enough time for our students to research information for a project, engage in a collaborative learning project with other students in other parts of the country or even our world nor access the plethora of applications out there to practice their reading, writing and math skills. While we have three devices in our own classroom, it doesn't give our 26 students enough time to access the information they need.
