About 100 students participate in the marching band. The majority are minorities and are eligible for subsidized lunches. While we have a wonderful parent booster club, they are more able to support our program with time rather than money for new equipment. However, we send most of our band students on to college or trade school, with 6-12 obtaining musical scholarships to help cover their education costs.
