Food is an essential part of everyday success and growth. Most of our kids come to school hungry or need snacks throughout the day in order to focus on their learning instead of hunger pains. By having extra snacks and water for our students they are able to maintain more of a focus and work harder because of having one less thing to worry about... hunger. Due to Covid we are seeing more of our students that have added stress at home and with our students being special education they don’t all process it well. We’re hoping that relieving the stress of hunger while at school will have an even greater positive outcome in the classroom.

About my class
