My students are really inspired by many great artists that draw from observations. We have an art pull outs program at school where students that demonstrate talent or are interested in advancing in art spend an extra 45 minutes in the art classroom. During their time, they learn more about art history, Japanese printmaking, and clay making. Art keeps these students in school and inspires them daily! Part of the program also includes art homework assignments. These young artists are given art prompts for homework assignments to enhance their motor and creative skills. My talented students need art sketchbooks to complete their artworks at home!
