I have 20 energetic 5- and 6-year-olds in my kindergarten classroom. They are eager to learn and love technology. Any time they have the opportunity to interact with computers or any form of technology, they become the most engaged in their learning. Unfortunately, as an inner city school, we do not have the resources that other schools may have. Therefore, our opportunities are limited. We don't have access to an abundance of resources that strengthen and broaden students' understanding of the world around them, but I feel that adding the projector, document camera and leveled books will help my students grow tremendously. They love to read books that are on their level, so having more that are available for them will grow their confidence in their own abilities and help me to meet their individual needs.
