We are a high poverty school, with more than 50% of our students on free or reduced lunch. In an urban/suburban setting, exposing students to as many activities as possible will only increase the achievement of our kids. Our kids are finally getting to have the same opportunities as other local middle schools, where they are challenged physically and mentally through a variety of activities. My students range from the matured physical athlete competing at a high level in multiple activities to the student who pushes their body every day to release the stresses of their everyday life and reach their goals of improved health for a life time of healthy activity which has a positive impact on all student's confidence.

About my class
