At Wilson, I have very wonderful students who love to be healthy and lead active lifestyles. It is so important that they are able to engage in these brain breaks throughout the week. My students live in the inner city and don't have the opportunity to be active once they arrive home. The majority of them do not have yards to go outside or access to materials like basketballs, bicycles, jump ropes etc. Our school does not have the funds to purchase materials, like these hula hoops and mini goals, which are crucial to team building and physical activities that I will do with my students.
