Welcome to the St. James Elementary Mock Trial Club! St. James Elementary School is a K-4 in Myrtle Beach, SC. Four years I formed the first elementary school Mock Trial Club in Horry County Schools- introducing students to the concepts of citizenship and our judiciary system. The club's culminating activity was a fairy tale Mock Trial puppet show put on for the school. Last year I joined forces with Mrs. R to create a unique experience for our students. With Mrs. R's amazing gift of word and wit, we created original full length LIVE performances related to a a mock trial of a fairy tale character, including flashbacks, comedy, song and dance...and of course romance! Our club is free of charge and we welcome all students in grades 1-4 (there is no cutting...we will find - and even make- a role for everyone). We are the Once Upon a Courtroom Drama Club!
