The materials that will be donated will help my students achieve both academically and socially in the classroom. My students love working in groups with technology. It makes it possible for them to learn and have fun at the same time. Unfortunately, there aren't enough supplies to aid each classroom in my school. Many of the books and resources we use in the classroom are outdated. The tablets give students a great resource to find the latest information on the subjects we discuss in class. My students will use the electronic tablets to assist them with coding and other interactive lessons. The plant kit will allow students to have a hands on experience with nature. Pencils and sharpeners are needed because many students cannot afford to buy new supplies. Integrating technology supports differentiation in the classroom. The knowledge that students will gain from using these supplies will help them compete in our global job market.
