There are many students in my class who have trouble breathing due to health issues. It appears they have asthma and/or hay fever due to the difficulty breathing and sneezing and watery eyes. As a result, I am not able to open my classroom windows and allow cool air to circulate the room. September is hay fever season and the classroom is very hot and uncomfortable for the students. It is unfortunate that they have to start a new school year this way. Therefore, I am trying to get an air conditioner donated for my classroom, in order for them to be more comfortable, to be able to start the school year in a positive way, and for health reasons.
