I believe in incorporating art into the classroom. Last year we took time every month to do a short art project. Students were engaged and felt proud of their work. Student artwork is displayed to create a beautiful classroom environment. We need supplies like paints, papers, rulers, etc... in order to foster creativity. We need art supplies to unleash our creativity. Our budget has been cut this year and without the help of generous donors, we cannot afford art supplies for our classroom. Last year was the first year that I was able to incorporate art into our classroom. I saw a difference in our students' confidence when they saw that they were able to create something beautiful on their own! I would like to continue our work with this integration this year.
