My students need materials to design, create and build based on their interests for building models, knitting, drawing, painting and exploring hydroponics. My students have expressed a desire in using this opportunity to give back to others in their community. Students, grades 5-8 will create once a week after school in the STEM space, building racecars, trebuchets, turn broken crayons into heart-shaped gifts using molds, grow lettuce and basil using hydroponics kits, make scarves and hats for babies in the NICU, needy families, and the elderly, using knitters, and their arms and create artwork on canvas with paints and watercolor.

About my class
