I serve a variety of disabilities in my school. These disabilities include Autism, Learning Disabled, Intellectually Disabled, and Other Health Impairment. Their ages range from 9-12. The students receive their education in a variety of settings. Some of my students stay in the general education classroom full time and receive help in this setting. Some of my students are pulled out and receive services in a resource room and lastly, for the more severe. They stay in a self-contained room and go into the general education setting for limited amounts of time. Each of my students are unique and special. They have to work on learning accommodations to meet their individual needs. They struggle to meet the rigorous curriculum put forth for the average student.
