Each of my students will have access to a Google Chromebook to assist with lessons and learning but we do not have headphones/earbuds for our students and being that majority of my students are from a low income family, they do not have the means to provide them for themselves. By getting my project funded I will be able to ensure that each student has their own headphone to use with their Chromebooks. It would mean so much to be able to see the smile one their faces when they are given their own headphones. Most importantly, being able to give each student their own headphones will illuminate any worry about having to come up with a way to provide one for themselves and allow them to participate in all aspects of learning in my classroom. Having headphones each student will be able listen to screen casts used in lessons for instruction and guidance, they will be able to listen to Flip Grids made by me their teacher as well as their peers, and finally they will be able to listen to mini-lessons that are accessible online.
