My students come from a low-socio economic status and high poverty population. The majority of them do not owe any type of electronic device or lack access to technology at home. At the moment, our classroom only has three desktops. It is a challenge to allow all students to conduct any type of research or computer usage throughout the day. That is why I believe that having extra iPads will not only benefit my students but the exposure to technology will allow them to explore. It will also allow them to research topics that are being discussed in class and also improve our parent communication through the Class Dojo app. Extra iPads brings many benefits to the classroom but especially to the children.
