Our high school is working to help youth become creative and responsible citizens by providing a hands-on, integrated, interdisciplinary core curriculum, enhanced by a four-year sequential study of the visual arts. The school has a population typical of an under served urban area. The student body of 500 consists of 50% Latino, 46% African American and 4% White and Asian American. The school has received Title 1 funds since 2002.
