Now, more than ever, technology is an essential aspect of the classroom. I have the privilege of teaching math and social studies to 60 students. Unfortunately, my students only have access to 5 Chromebooks. Technology is an essential part of our math lessons. Without enough computers, my students are missing out on vital interactive aspects of each lesson. They are unable to efficiently practice each skill, and as a result, I fear they will fall behind. My students also need the opportunity reap the benefits of technology when it comes to social studies. Having Chromebooks will allow them to immerse themselves in primary sources and virtual tours. They will be able to gain a greater appreciation for what makes this country and this state so great. Please help my students receive an education that will help them become the future leaders that this world needs!
