One word describes our school, family. We are a close-knit, small middle school of 350 students. We know our students are capable of greatness and strive to promote a sense of pride within our school. Students work to meet goals and celebrate each other's successes on a daily basis. Within the past year, the entire climate within the school has changed with the added recognition of students showing growth rather than only those who are proficient. We as a staff feel we are moving them from great to awesome. We utilize a variety of instruction to meet students where they are at daily. Student engagement has increased with the implementation of technology, Google classroom, small groups, math stations and problem-based learning. Our desire is to see students excited about learning.
