My project will make a difference because these students are the digital natives. At PreKindergarten, we are at the very beginning of the education process. Our classrooms are not yet at the level of technologically to meet their needs as learners. This grant will help to close that gap just a little bit more. I have apps for various STEM activities and can differentiate, allowing me to have activities for both my highest performing and most struggling students. As PreK students, we are building a strong foundation in science, math, engineering and technology to increase the learning potential in these areas. This iPad would enable us to have a center dedicated to STEM activities for all students and help our students be successful learners.
