The requested iPads will help my students be more confident in their learning goals, giving them the ability to have more individualized intervention and practice. I plan to use these iPads and headphones to help some of my lower readers practice sight words and fluency. I can also help my students who need additional practice in math fluency with addition, subtraction and multiplication flash cards. They can also build independence by using the iPads in small groups for recording or taking pictures of work or projects. They can use them for short instructional videos such as a phonics lesson they may have missed while absent. The headphones will help the students be able to listen and speak into the iPads without disturbing others around them. I requested 5 headphones because they seem to break/wear down quicker with younger hands using them.
