Hello friends of students and teachers in need! My name is Mr. Toutjian and I am just beginning my full-time teaching career at Castlemont High School in East Oakland, California. Specifically I am teaching Art and English to English Language Learners just arriving to the United States, most from Mexico and Central America. So far, there is one newcomer from Yemen.. These are really sweet kids who are eager to learn and really grateful to be here. I can do a lot with a little- and honestly, they would never complain- but I feel they should have as rich of an art learning experience as any kid anywhere. To that end, any art supplies that you can to donate to our classroom would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
