My students need to have a comfortable place to sit during group discussions/work time. The rug I am requesting will be comfortable for them and also provide them with clear color-coded boundaries. The children will have assigned seats which will assist with classroom management. The perimeter of the rug also has pictures of words to practice phonics. When I request that the class sit on the perimeter of the rug, they will have fun finding the picture that matches the phonics sound I call out. Because my school does not have enough document cameras this year my classroom needs one desperately! I need to be able to display information to the entire class at once.
