The items we've selected will help our students keep active while exploring the outdoors and building gross motor and fine motor strength. The active set will allow our students to learn to play in teams and build self-esteem as they work together. The sand will help students build upon their thoughts as they create in the sand and water table. The musical instruments will help the student be creative and learn about the joy of music. The pillows will allow students to have a comfy place to read and write while outside. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve our students' physical activity you will be helping our students foster a collaborative team environment as students learn to share, take turns, and work together. From a game of basketball, jumping rope, playing in the sand or playground equipment these activities get students moving, promoting physical literacy and a healthy lifestyle.
