We would like to update some of our fitness equipment. It is our goal to engage our students with new ideas, equip them with safe and appropriate equipment, and empower them to do the best they can do every day. The new BOSU balls will ensure that every kid will get to have their own or share with only one partner. The stop watches will allow our students to time each other for specific fitness activities. We need to update our folding mats so kids will have a safer place to land. The plyo boxes will ensure our students will be safe when trying to jump on top of them. Currently we have metal ones which some students are afraid to use because they scrape their shins on them. The foam boxes will empower the kids to do their best without fear of being hurt. We believe that empowering kids through physical fitness and belief in self will serve them well when other areas of life pose significant challenges.
