"At KC Preparatory Academy, we are committed to go beyond excellence by achieving greatness in Academics, Arts, and Athletics through high expectations, respectful communications, and team work from the foundation of integrity and love" - King-Chavez mission statement. My students all live within 8 miles of our school, here in Logan Heights. All of our students get free meals and lots of school supplies. We always try to offer our students the best opportunity we possibly can. Unfortunately, we don't receive as much funding as a lot of schools, but we do pretty well with what we've got. We got new Chromebooks this year, but they didn't come with headphones. I would like to provide my students with headphones so they can interact with technology in a more consistent and fluid manner.
