We are a middle school for 6th - 8th grades. Although predominantly African American, many of our students come from a variety of backgrounds. We have at least four languages represented among our students. Eighty percent of our students are eligible for free/reduced lunch. Our school has demonstrated a need for accelerated growth in English Language Arts. Engaging adolescents in literacy through the use of technology that has the advantage of allowing students to access the literacy curriculum in manner that prepares for them with skills that will be used in most career fields.

About my class
