I teach in a high poverty area. Many of my students come in with no preschool experience, which already puts them behind. None of this seems to stop them from being the hardest workers I know. They come in daily, eager to learn. They try their best and always try to please. Even though some of them may not have had a good dinner or breakfast, they always come in with a smile.
