I teach at a charter school with an emphasis on service learning and Spanish. Additionally, we specialize in leveling our classes so that each student gets as close to a tailor-made education as a public school can get. This means that for literacy and math, students are placed in grade level classes that go at a pace that is just right for the student. My students are a mix of neighborhood kids and commuters, middle class and Title One recipients.
