The Prismacolors can help my students combine and blend colors together to create a richer and more realistic color pencil rendering. Students learning at home can practice their drawing skills and be able to work with color, since many cannot afford art supplies, at this moment. Many are creating their drawings on line paper because they do not have the resources to buy drawing paper or art materials. These color pencils have a smoother consistency that allows them to mix and make lighter values or darker shades. Students are able to apply layers, shade, blend, and mix various colors for a much richer effect. Providing paints and canvas is not possible at the moment, so students can use the color pencil techniques to experience the use of color in their work.
