I teach second and third grade EIP at an elementary school in downtown Augusta. The students I teach are struggling in the areas of math and reading. They are one or two grade levels behind, and they are lacking confidence in their abilities. Our students also face other challenges outside of school. Some are disadvantaged students whose family, social, or economic circumstances hinder their ability to learn at school. Therefore, it is vitally important to find ways to teach and motivate our student population.

About my class
