I work at a Title 1 school. The students attend a full day of school. I have 20 pre- school students between the ages of 4 and 5. They will all start kindergarten in 2016. The children in my class are at risk for not being successful in kindergarten based on the Dial IV screening. We also work closely with kindergarten students. This allows for peer modeling. It also helps the kindergarten students that need a little more help. The goal in my classroom is to provide each student with the skills and knowledge to be successful in kindergarten.
