As a music teacher, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to teach approximately 1000 students each week. Many of my students face hardships at home, and music provides them with a creative form of expression to cope with the challenges in their lives. I direct an extracurricular/volunteer chorus and recorder ensemble, where my students have the opportunity to make music together, build confidence and discipline, and grow as individuals. My goal is to offer my students exposure to as many positive musical styles as possible, experience the joy of learning various musical instruments, and even write their own compositions with the latest in music technology.

About my class
